What would it be like to live in a house with a ghost? Cha Seung-won and Jang Suh-hee will show you in their new movie, "A Ghost Is Living in This House." In the film, Jang Suh-hee makes her screen debut as a ghost who tries to scare away a man who has moved into her home. Cha Seung-won plays the role of the man who battles with the ghost for possession of the house.
One of the first Korean films to parody the popular Korean horror trend of recent years.
A horror-comedy about a man whose dream is to own a house. When he finally achieves his dream, he discovers that the house already has an owner -- a female ghost who does everything in her power to get rid of him.
Kim Sang-jin, director of such hit comedies as "Kwangbokjol Tuksa (Jail Breaker)" and "Sillaui Talbam (Kick the moon)," tries to bring a little humor into the horror film genre with his newest film. Cha Seung-won, a regular in Kim's movies, stars as Pil-gi, a man whose biggest dream in life is to become an owner of a house. But when his dream finally come true, he finds the house already has an owner, in the form of Yon-hwa (Jang Seo-hee), a female ghost who does everything in her powers to get rid of Pil-gi.
Talented director Kim Sang-jin (Attack the Gas Station ) and actor Cha Seung-won already joined forces for the comedy Jail Breakers while Jang Seo-hee makes her silver screen debut in the hilariously funny Ghost House. |
