A slacker gets his chance in the winning MBC drama Super Rookie. Eric Mun (Phoenix) of Shinhwa departs from his pop star image to wreak havoc as a bumbling nine-to-fiver who is grossly underqualified for his job. A hip drama about growing up while never giving up, Super Rookie serves as a telling but comic portrait of today's Korean youth. The series offers plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor and over-the-top laughs, while touching on the very realistic dreams and challenges that young people face. Co-starring in this crowd-pleasing hit is Oh Ji Ho (Fantastic Couple), as an overachiever trapped by his own ambitions, and Han Ga In (Terms of Endearment), as the mousy, bespectacled beauty who steals their hearts.
Kang Ho (Eric Mun) is just an average guy who got a college degree in physical education - but took twice as long to get it because he was too busy fooling around! Disheveled, unskilled, and unemployed, Kang Ho sends up resumes to many companies, but nobody gives him a shot because he has no experience and no apparent prospects. Even his parents think he's just a freeloader. One day, Kang Ho decides to apply to the same large company that his successful classmate Bong Sam (Oh Ji Ho) works at. He completely bungles the interview process, but thanks to a computer error, he's given a job! Is the company ready for this Super Rookie?
