Somebody is coming to change the life of young General Lee Sunsin!
North and South troops disappear with a new nuclear bomb.
A new nuclear bomb, developed by North and South Korea under the tightest secrecy, is being transferred to the U.S. A discontented officer from North Korea (Gang Mingil) kidnaps a nuclear physicist (Kim Suyeon) trying to escape with the new nuclear bomb. At that moment, a huge comet passes over the Korean peninsula. Officer Gang's company and the South Korea soliders who are chasing them disappear in a sudden blast.
Meet Young Lee Sunsin, who is so prodigal that he cannot be called a hero.
After the blast, they are suddenly transported to a scene where Chinese barbarians are killing people with axes and arrows. Instinctively, they shoot the barbarians. They then hide in a cave after the barbarians retreat, startled at the power of their cutting-edge weapons. At night, a man enters the cave and steals their weapons. He is young Lee Sunsin, who is supposed to become one of the greatest military heroes in Korean history. Now, however, he is wasting his time, having failed the military service exam. At the same time, a rumor arises that ¡°heaven¡¯s soldiers¡± have come down to save the people whom the government has abandoned. The soldiers realize that they have traveled back in time to a border area during the Joseon Dynasty in 1572.
Save the life of General Lee Sunsin or return to the future?
The South Korean armies look for the nuclear bomb, which was lost during the battle with the Chinese barbarians. On the other hand, a South Korean officer (Park Jungwu), who has admired Lee Sunsin all his life, is greatly disappointed with the young Lee Sunsin. Park tries to train him for the military service exam, but Lee puts up stubborn resistance. Then, a girl in the village is killed by Chinese barbarians. The event transform Lee from a debauched fellow into a genuine hero. As Officer Gang retrieves their nuclear bomb, the barbarians are about to attack the village. Now, they have to decide: fight with Lee Sunsin or return to the future?
