This was actually a breath of fresh air from Shun, after being type cast as the silent/mysterious character in dramas since 2005. But.. I guess it was overdoing it a little, most especially in episode 1. There were even times that I really resented his acting & his character. Good thing, it lessens as the story went on. The situation was more realistic but the lead character wasn't so that's why the way he handled it was different from what a normal person would do. I started liking it at around ep4, that’s when I really started laughing at Shun’s character plus the scenes with Shiraishi that would always end up in him hugging Shiraishi. Also, the scene when Koyama was counting the money while Omu Omu keep on distracting him and don’t forget the weird scenes with his mother. All in all, it was a mixture of a human drama, light to exaggerated comedy and friendship. I wouldn't say that I didn't like the ending but I guess adding that marriage thing in the end was not necessary.
