Nanba (Takehara Pistol) used to be a star high school baseballplayer, but now he's broke, single, and works part-time at the supermarket. Into his lackluster life enters Eiko (Sakai Maki), a young drunken woman who brings a little romance and a lot of trouble. They embark on a clumsy crime spree to fund Eiko's alcohol needs. Their escapades soon attract the reluctant attention of bitter police officer Ishioka (Masanobu Ando), Nanba's former teammate who was forced to give up baseball because of an injury.
