Based on the novel by Amano Setsuko, Koori no Hana tells the story of the tragic downward spiral of Seno Kyoko (Yonekura Ryoko), a beautiful pianist. Kyoko leads a luxurious and blissful life with her husband, Seno Takayuki (Sakai Masato), a surgeon and hospital director. But one day, she receives a phone call from a woman claiming to be pregnant with her husband’s child and that changes her life of contentment. She commits murder and is pursued by Toda Katsumi (Tachi Hiroshi), an ace detective intent on arresting her.
